systemd-shutdown[1]: Failed to finalize DM devices, ignoring

Hello,
I am having this issue. I started this thread https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-ve-shutdown-does-not-poweroff-machine.160147/ but nobody answered.

Now I got access to the display, and it displayed this message:
"Failed to finalize DM devices, ignoring"
Next the screen goes dark and the PVE never shuts down, only by pressing the button.

I don't have GPU passthrough but I have HDD passthrough via virtio, but I always shut the VM first, that has the HDD, before issueing the shutdown command.

usuing init 0 or shutdown via gui gives the same results, doesn't shut down.
The "watchdog: watchdog0: watchdog did not stop!" message DOES NOT appear.

My proxmox version is updated, always updated to the last version.

What should I do?
Which solutions should I try? Are they effective?

Thank you.
Exactly same both as you! I think it's something to do with passthrough, but I already did everything I think I could do. For some reason, proxmox is just simply not releasing the device. I am doing GPU passthrough though with a GTX1080. It's incredibly annoying...

Well it has been strange…
Not only I didn’t used pass through of GPU (i passed through HDD), but i have observed this behavior booting ubuntu natively.

Sometimes it also don’t shutdown. Sometimes it does.
I empazise this. Ubuntu booted natively, not Ubuntu in proxmox VM.

What can be the problem?
Why only sometimes?

I have the bios option turn on when power comeback because i need it tomturn it on remotely (I can’t turn it ok via wake on lan, couldn’t enable it on onboard BIOS)…

Ideas?
