I have some issues when i try to run a cluster at OVH. I was not able to join the cluster with the installed version. It was not working with multicast and unicast either.

Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes

So i switched to the No-Subscription repro and has the update/upgrade done, after a reboot everthing was working how i expect it! :-) I don't change any config!

But now i want to change the repro to the stable version but how can i make sure it will work?
It's already running a few production VM's verry well and i can't risk to crash the cluster!

Is this issue a known problem and already solved?

just remove the pve-no-subscription repo and add use the enterprise repo only.

But will it work without problems? Is there the same versions? They give me a lot of headache with there stupid infrastructure! :-(

Have the fucking no quorum issue yesterday again! See my OVH disaster post. :-(
Absolutely not happy with this situation! :-(

I dont see why and how the difference between no-subscription and enterprise subscription could have caused such an issue. All the repo change does is enable enterprise packages. The change is seamless as far as i know. Never had any issue and not aware of anybody having an issue due to repo change.

And please try to contain your extreme frustration in this forum. There is no need of unnecessary language. Also instead of just saying see my OVH post, please have the courtesy to post the link.

I don't know if there are the same packages! If u read my first post u see the problem was solved with the change to the no-subscription packages. And the nodes on the webside let me think there must be a differnce between the repros!

The pve-no-subscription repo can be used for testing and non-production use. Its not recommended to run on production servers as these packages are not always heavily tested and validated.

It is more then frustrating if cutomer ask why he pay 4 times more for HA and now get more problems than before!

It could also be a customer lacking required skills and trying to accomplish something which is requiring a proper education. Despite what Microsoft and Apple try to convince you computer and IT is not every mans business!
