Hi, can any one point me to guidelines for RAM configuration on containers?
Ever since we updated to Proxmox 4 we to often get containers overusing swap even if their allocated RAM seems on ranges of 40-60%.
We've adjusted the vm.swappiness on the host system to 10 now with similar results. It seems somehow like swap remains "allocated" even if not use, so obviously the host machine's swap is too often too used.
We've been considering removing swap all together from containers as we assume that the host will start using it only when the SUM of the containers RAM is overseaded.
I could not find any info on optimal parameters, also depending on linux containers and/or Windows KVMs.
Thanks.
