Hi Proxmox,
Now that I have a subscription I feel I can post here
Email is all about domains but I find the domain management side of proxmox unnecessarily complex...
Perhaps my use case is different?
I'm using proxmox as a mail gateway (in & out) to 2 (soon to be 3) mail servers. When complete there will be 50 or so domains. These are small businesses (1-4 mailboxes max)
for each domain there are three screens I need to go to
As my domain lists grow its becoming more and more error prone as its not possible to get an overview of the domain setup. There is not even a record count.
I would like to suggest this is replaced by a single 'Domains' config screen, on which is:
The domain, the transport (dropdown, default or otherwise), dkim enabled (checkbox)
The current transports screen is retained for defining transports.
The current dkim screen is retained for configuring dkim.
Some debug options against the domain would be nice too - MX record validation. DKIM validation. Daily automatic verification with little green ticks would be fantastic.
cheers,
F.
