Guten Tag Zusammen,

leider bekomme ich mein Problem nicht behoben. Ich habe leider immer wieder das Problem, dass sobald ich einen LXC anlege oder auch neustarte, immer wieder das Hostsystem abschmiert. Ich habe manchmal nur ? in Proxmox. Habe test weise auch mal htop offen gelassen. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, das ein Kern auf 100% steigt. Ich habe die aktuellen Kernel installiert sowie die Aktuelle Proxmox Version. Ebenso habe ich ein ZFS Storage in Verwendung.

Ich bezahle gerne Geld für die Lösung:)

Zum Ersten kann ich dir auf jedem Fall zum Support raten. Die Leute sind toll, kompetent und schnell :D
Zu deinem Problem wird dir aber trotzdem im Moment niemand weiter helfen können. Von dem du da sprichst ist ein Kernelbug der schon seit Mitte 2018 existiert. Der kommt mal stärker, dann geht er wieder fast, dann wieder voll da. Wir das Problem. Das Forum ist voll mit dem Thema ein Thread, hab ihn jetzt nicht Kopf, geht aber über viele viele Seiten.

Eine Verbesserung konnten wir auf jeden Fall verzeichnen. Wennst du den CT von innen aus herunter fährst, kakt es zu 99% jedes mal ab. Fährst du den CT aber von PVE herunter und wartest ein wenig gehts normal weiter und du kannst den CT auch wieder starten. Wenn du die Fragezeichen hast oder ein Timeout bekommst ist es schon zu spät. Wenn du dann den Host neu startest, hängt sich dieser dann auch auf. Die einzige Möglichkeit in dem Fall ist auf der CMD von Proxmox nach dem Prozess zu suchen. Z.b.

Wobei 124 deine CT-ID ist. Dort den Prozess löschen wo "Monitor" dabei steht. Dann den Host durch starten. Danach gehts wieder. Ohne Neustart gehts auf jeden Fall nicht.

Wobei 8632 die ProzessID beschreibt.

Ich weis das ganze ist ärgerlich. Wir haben vor einiger Zeit angefangen alle Linuxwebgeschichten und kleinere Services von KVM auf LXC um zustellen. Gleich danach gabs den Bug. Als Workaround haben wir um Tausende Euros einen eigene Clusternode dazu gekauft, damit wir nur dort drauf die ganzen CT's fahren und alles andere nicht davon betroffen ist.

Ich hoffe das der Fehle endlich mal gefunden wird und der Bug behoben wird. Da dies sehr Komplex zu sein scheint, mach ich mir ehrlich gesagt so schnell keine Hoffnungen mehr. Naja da muss halt Canonical auch endlich mal was tun. Der PVE Kernel kommt ja von Ubuntu.

Nein das geht nicht, aber ich habe in meiner Not in der Zwischenzeit schon gut 20 CT's auf KVM umgebaut. Leider :(:(

* Welcher Prozess verbraucht die 100% (`ps auxwf`, `top`, `htop`)
* Steht irgendetwas aufschlussreiches in `dmesg`, `journalctl -r`
* nachdem es bei einigen Fällen schon Abhilfe verschafft hat - ist das BIOS der Systeme halbwegs aktuell?
