Hi All,

I have noticed an strange issue. Here is my config I have Proxmox installed on 8GB Hard Disk and 40 GB other Hard Disk installed for Local storage. Now when I create VM, I need to upload ISO image. I try to do that with CentOS 6.2 which is of 4.0 GB almost. The upload happens perfectly later in the logs I see that only 1.23 GB of data gets copied.
Here are the logs not sure why this is happening. I tried this with all of the ISOs but no luck.

starting file import from: /var/tmp/CGItemp35571
target node: pmx04
target file: /storage/template/iso/CentOS-5.6-i386-bin-DVD.iso
file size is: 1326108672
command: cp /var/tmp/CGItemp35571 /storage/template/iso/CentOS-5.6-i386-bin-DVD.iso
finished file import successfully
TASK OK

target file: /storage/template/iso/CentOS-6.0-i386-bin-DVD.iso
file size is: 1324908544
command: cp /var/tmp/CGItemp35138 /storage/template/iso/CentOS-6.0-i386-bin-DVD.iso
finished file import successfully
TASK OK

See the file size

So Tom/Dietmar,

What path generally ISOs are kept? I mean if I need to SCP to the host need to know the path and also what would be the path the if the storage is not local.
Would you please shed some light on it.

I always use SCP if the ISO or backup file it over 4gb. I find they often fail on any browser.
For ISO files, the directory is /var/lib/vz/template/iso/
For backups, the directory is /var/lib/vz/dump/
