Storing Proxmox Log Task and Log Cluster on a Separate Disk Drive

Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new to Proxmox, and although I've searched around, I still haven't found a solution.

I've encountered an issue where the log task and log cluster files in Proxmox are taking up a significant portion of my main disk. To prevent the disk from filling up, I've already set up a separate hard drive for storing backups and ISO images. Now, I was wondering if it's possible to also store the log task and log cluster files on this additional hard drive.

Could someone please guide me on how to configure Proxmox to move these logs to a different disk? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Log files are in /var/log/. but pve specific normally don't use >1GB so moving around makes no real sense, see "du -sk /var/log/*"

out of curiosity: of which size are we talking about, like what is the output of du -sh /var/log/pve/tasks?
For moving: just move the data to a new location and create a symlink in the original one, like described here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/change-var-log-pveproxy-var-log-pve-locations.110265/post-474687
