Good read, he really beat the snot our of those drives. Would have loved to see some higher end drives put to the test.

Why is that? The 840 pro is nothing special imo. The DC s3500 has better write endurance. The 840 blows it away in performance for sure.

Power failure protection is another one that is key in most enterprise setups which the consumer side just doesn't meet.
