Spice Without Web Console?

Is it possible to connect to a VM using Spice without using the Proxmox Web Console?

If so, how would it be done?

I'm assuming everyone here has gotten their issues sorted out, but just in case someone is still finding this thread through Google like I did, I've posted a solution to this exact issue.
