SPICE (qlx) in red when enabling it as display on Ubuntu VM

I recently enabled SPICE as a Display driver in a Ubuntu 18 guest
as it is mentioned here https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/SPICE
but the SPICE option appear disabled in the PROXMOX Console dropdown menu.
What else I need to do to have it working?

If you change the graphic cards, you need to shutdown and start the VM.

red options are 'pending changes' which will be applied when the vm is being stopped and then started again
