snapshot creation error

Hello, mir!

I've got an error, when trying to create VM snapshot
using ZFS over iSCSI (istgt)

VM 100 qmp command 'savevm-start' failed - failed to open 'iscsi://10.15.252.101/iqn.2016-04.news.dalet-chelabnsk.a-stor-1:disk0/2'

proxmox 4.1-1/2f9650d4
nas4free 10.2.0.2 - Prester (revision 2268)

an error appears for all VMs.

I tried to reinstall everything, including nas4free installation on VM - no result.

when I change nas4free to nexenta, everything works fine. but nexenta isn't suitable for me.

tell me please, how I can fix or workaround this problem?
 
I use bareos (bacula fork) for backup, so storage-daemon should run on NAS to minimize trafic (otherwise the transfer speed falling is very big)

I can run it with Nas4free, but nexenta doesn't allow to install 3rd party packages (though maybe it can be done by users, having enough experience with solaris).
 
Thanks for advice! I'll try it.

But I suppose, that many nas4free users should have this error, so the problem isn't resolved completely.

Is there anyone, who has the same problem?
 
I'm not sure, that the bug #960 directly related to this error, so I created a new thread.

After the fresh installation I need to fix the path before the interaction between proxmox and nas4free becomes possible. So that issue can be considered as solved.

Though both errors appear on the same installation and I think, that they derive from
/usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/LunCmd/Istgt.pm
or
/usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/ZFSPlugin.pm

nas4free is an excellent product and it's better to make it working with proxmox, than using other OS'es.

I'm ready to provide all information, that is needed to find the solution.

additional info about this issue:
  1. I can create and rollback snapshots without any problems, when VM is in shutdown state
  2. when I try to make a snapshot on running VM:
snapshot create failed: starting cleanup
TASK ERROR: VM 103 qmp command 'savevm-start' failed - failed to open 'iscsi://10.15.252.101/iqn.2016-05.news.dalet-chelabnsk.a-stor-1:disk0/3'

after this error VM is "broken" - all operations with it become impossible and I have a second error message, when trying to stop,start, or make another snapshot, or rollback to existing snapshot of this VM:

Could not find lu_name for zvol vm-103-disk-1 at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/ZFSPlugin.pm line 102.

 
Could you file a new bugreport for this? Please include as much relevant information as possible.
