Skip backup of disabled VMs

Hello,
I have two scheduled backup jobs in Proxmox - daily for the more important machines and weekly for the secondary ones. But sometimes I disable VMs from the first group, so I don't need their daily backups.
Is there any way that Proxmox could skip daily backups for disabled VMs, without manual removing them from backup job?

No, as of now there is no functionality to skip backups for stopped VMs and containers. For now you would still have to exclude VMs to skip manually. Still, backups for stopped VMs (that didn't change since the last backup) will not increase your disk usage due to deduplication, if you can overlook the time taken for the backup task.
