This is something strange I noticed. It will tell you the system is going down for reboot but never actually boot. Is this due to fencing?

It is impossible to answer such question without any information about your system. Do you run a HA cluster?

Yes we do.

4 nodes, 1 san + NFS file share and 1 dedicated NFS file share.

I actually tried to buy the professional support but never heard back ... we're testing out the system and happy to pay to work with you guys

We emailed office with no reply. Dietmar can we talk?

Also is there anyway to overcome and force reboot?

If you want commercial support, go to the online shop an buy (quite simple).

fence the node (or use the power button). In future, make sure you do not loose quorum - this is important for HA.

Will send an email to office again now.

Thank you again - we seem to have most of it working (I have fencing on now - just waiting for a faulty IPMI card to be replaced)

Could this be an issue? Seems like multicast on the server is not working even though we have IP Multicast Active set on the switch side
