Dear Team,

We have different setup of Proxmox 5.2 and Proxmox 6.1 Cluster.

Last one year we are using proxmox 5.2 cluster with nfs storage. Recently we created proxmox 6.1 cluster and tried to add the same nfs storage but we are not able to add the nfs storage. We are using netapp FAS8200 storage for NFS

1. Able to ping storage IP
2. Not able to mount the export using proxmox GUI
3. Not able to mount the export using proxmox CLI
4. Able to mount the export using mount command
5. showmount -e < storage IP > gives error "rpc mount export: RPC timeout"
6. pvesm nfsscan < storage IP > gives error "rpc mount export: RPC timeout failed exit code 1"

Is there any solution to add NFS storage to proxmox 6.1

hi,

* what happens when you run rpcinfo -p your.nfs.server.ip ?

* are the firewalls allowing the connection to NFS from the new PVE?

* maybe try if you can reach the ports 111 and 2049 from your PVE machine:
nc your.nfs.server.ip 111 -vv and same for 2049
