Shell via Web UI hangs when connected from second node

I have a two node cluster set up running a few containers and one VM. They all function just fine and migrate just fine. If I ssh from my workstation, into any of the consoles or the host shells, everything works great. If I use the Web UI with my browser pointed at the main node (192.168.53.141), all works fine, even with the host shell or VM/LXC consoles from the second node. However, if I point my browser at the second node (192.168.53.142), the host shells and VM/LXC consoles from either host hang after about 2-3 minutes.

Given the 141 host can let me use the shell of the 142 host or the 142's VM/LXC consoles, and that I don't experience this using ssh, I don't suspect I am actually having network connectivity issues with the second node. Additionally, it is only the console/shell screen that does this. The summary page will continue to live update without issue.

Any thoughts on what might be going on? It isn't a terribly big deal as when I hang, I just point the the primary node, but it is a nuisance.

Does it just hang or display an error of sorts? xterm (for LXC) likes to print "Detecting migration..." when it senses the connection being interrupted, if it simply hangs that could be a different type of error.

Try opening the developer console in your browser while using the console (i.e. press F12 in Firefox/Chrome at least). There should be 'Network' and 'Console' tabs that could potentially provide more information on why it's failing.

Additionally, check the log files on both PVE nodes, there might also be an issue with pveproxy forwarding the connections.
