Hi!

I am new to proxmox. I installed and set it up last week. However, I am now experiencing the issue that my instance goes offline after a few hours of being online. I cannot access it via ssh or the webinterface and it disconnects from my network. The only way of restarting is by forcing it through the power button. I looked into the logs and there is absolutely nothing suspicious or wrong. I regularly checked RAM and CPU utilization. Also nothing suspicious. Arround 10-20% CPU and 50% RAM.

I have two CTs running. One for reverse proxy and cloudflared. It only has 512MB RAM allocated. The other CT is running my synapse matrix homeserver with 4GB RAM allocated.

Additionally, I have one VM for trueNAS with 8GB RAM allocated.

My system specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X
RAM: 16GB DDR4
Storage: 512GB system disk, 2x 2TB HDD for trueNAS

Does anyone know what to try next?

The first Zen generation of CPUs has issues with C-states. Try disabling them in the motherboard BIOS. Also updating the motherboard BIOS helps against incompatibilities with newer kernels.

Thanks! Will try that! I was to lazy to do anything with the BIOS because in order to to so, I have to disassemble my entire server to put a GPU in it. But I think I have no other option now XD
