Dear,

When upgrading to version 8.1, proxmox freezes on this screen. when choosing the old kernel in front of the computer ( 6.2.16-19-pve), the server loads normally.

I tried setting the old proxmox-boot-tool pin kernel and it doesn't load automatically.

The server only works if the old kernel is displayed on the display.

could you check whether the kernel managed to log anything during the boot attempts with the "broken" kernel ("journalctl -b -X" to select the Xth previous boot)? are you using any DKMS modules that might not be compatible with the new kernel version but be required for booting?

Have you tried connecting from the network or just from looking at the screen? Maybe related to this and all potential related issues reported in the last 24h.

You can remove the quiet from the kernel command line and see if it outputs something.

How do you remove this? I configured it with proxmox-boot-tool kernel pin old_version to upload the old version, and even then it doesn't load, it just chooses it from the front of the machine. I'm using systemd-boot

What would be another way to select another kernel at boot, without using the proxmox-boot-tool pin? Even though it is defined, it is choosing the most current kernel 6.5.X.Thanks

This machine is using systemd-boot. I can choose kernel 6.2 and the machine boots normally, but with the command "proxmox-boot-tool kernel pin 6.2XXX" it doesn't choose the correct one and gets stuck. I did an installation from scratch with proxmox 8.0, as version 8.1 didn't work.
