hi so im trying to setup a servarr set up and am bagging my head against a wall understanding linux acl i presume.
my set up is i have latest no subscription proxmox installed on ssd of two 500gig zfs mirror with cockpit and a 8tb hdd zfs mirror with 128 gigs of ram.
so i have created a cifs share using cockpit attached to my zfs mirror.

then i have a ubuntu LTS server that i am able to mount the /mirror share to.

i have users setup for prowler, readarr, sonarr with attached to group media and there own names.
trying to go into the file save location access.

on proxmox i was able to change owner group to media and i made my windows user gjkrisa owner user.

i think its not really the name im worried about but the user/group numbers don't match and haven't been able to find how to change these and i hope if i make them the same that this will remove this road block.

well that did not work i may have to just use lxc thats how i had it before but didnt like how when i booted you could see docker even though it was in a lxc and not on proxmox its self
