Gracias,

Hi all. I have a cluster with three nodes, ... I have been working with proxmox for years (since version 1.6). some time ago i migrated the firewall on debian to pfsense. And then, I don't know from when one of the interfaces (almost always the LAN) disconnects or stops working, it is only restored by rebooting the system or deactivating the interface and then activating it. I have done everything, or almost everything: I have changed the interface drivers (E1000, VirtIO, RTL8139), change the MTU in the pfsense and nothing, when it seems to be disconnected and that's it.

Another problem I have is that the LAN does not copy more than 5mb / s to the DMZ.

If someone knows please, you can contact me by post, or by whasapp +5352809663.

Thank you,

Here we see the same behaviour. We use some PFSense systems to build IPSec tunnels and do some basic firewalling.
On ESX no problems; they run for years without issues.
On Proxmox we see problemens approx every week. with them...

All hardware is HP ProLiant DL360 Gen 9; using HP network cards.
We see this behaviour at:
pve-kernel-4.10.17-2-pve: 4.10.17-19
pve-kernel-4.15.17-1-pve: 4.15.17-9
pve-kernel-5.4: 6.2-2

We're using E1000 cards in the virtual hardware on all PFSense VM's. In Pfsense under "System", "Advanced", "Networking" we've enabled "Disable hardware checksum offload", "Disabled hardware TCP segmentation offload" and "Disable hardware large receive offload".

The PFSense webinterface becomes unavailable; IPSec tunnels are unavailable anymore.
Only thing which helps is rebooting the VM.

Saludos.
Miguel Padilla.
