When I plugin an external USB drive, it auto load using the scsi emulator as sdb.
However everytime the server is rebooted, it no longer recognizes neither the USB hard drive, nor the sata internal drive (proxmox is running on a hardware RAID card, no on internal sata).
The only way to make it see the usb hard drive is by turning the external disk off and on while the server is on.
Is proxmox having some drivers issue?
How can I make promox use the system drivers and not the OS drivers?
