Does anyone know if the rocket raid 2680 is supported? Newegg has them on sale for $145!!

It looks like hardware raid to me, you build the arrays in BIOS. Here is a link to the manual http://www.highpoint-tech.com/PDF/RR26XX/RR2680_UM_EN_10_091008.pdf

However I can't find any reference to which chipset it uses.

all fake raid controller have a bios configuration.

fake raid cards do their best in kind of marketing to hide their real nature.

rocketraid sells "hardware raid" controller and "value" series. so I assume there is a difference :-).

It's a softwareraid. I recommend a Adaptec RAID 2405.
Low price and it's works great with proxmox ve.
