Hello,After trying to add a node to cluster which failed it seems like i have lost all of my VMs..but after i search through the /var/lib/vz/private directory..I found the openvz containers as directories with the folder name as the vmId.How can i restore these from the folders ?Thanks

Hello all,

I had in principle the same problem. But more than that, I had also some kvm virtual machines installed. The virtual disks are still there, but the configuration files are lost.

Of course, with some tricky actions (create machines new, but reuse the original disks) a workaround is possible - but maybe an utility exists for it somewhere ...

Hi,
normaly that's not possible, that pve create an openvz-directory structure from an VM-image!
Perhaps it's an old (not full deleted) CT?

On which storage your VMs are running? local? Are there any content below "/var/lib/vz/images/"?

Are the VMs still running? Only deleted from the gui?

The deleted VMs on the cluster-node, or the node which join the cluster?
