restore backup to a different location

is there a way to restore a backup to a different location?

we have a KVM at /var/lib/vz/images .

I backed it up.

is there a way to restore the backup to a different location?

I have setup DRBD and want to move my KVM's to the drbd storage.

How to chance the diskdriver which excesses the disk image and the storagepool where it is located.
