restore backup of vm 500 giga

Hello, I have proxmox 7.2.3 server. I try to restore a vm with 500 giga hard disk.
I got always this error:

error before or during data restore, some or all disks were not completely restored. VM 124 state is NOT cleaned up.
TASK ERROR: unable to create image: 'storage-StorageProxmox'-locked command timed out - aborting

Any solution to avoid this issue?

yeah - set preallocation to off for that storage (see 'man pvesm')
