Hi,

I figured a strange bahaviour. Today I wanted to enlarge the disk of a ubuntu VM. I started with adding space via Proxmox GUI. Then I connected to the VM via putty and made the changes with parted. This worked:

Code:
root@srv-rpx:~# fdisk -l /dev/sda | grep ^/dev
/dev/sda1 2048 4095 2048 1M BIOS boot
/dev/sda2 4096 1576959 1572864 768M Linux filesystem
/dev/sda3 1576960 23068638 21491679 10,3G Linux filesystem

Code:
root@srv-rpx:~# lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
loop0 7:0 0 55,5M 1 loop /snap/core18/2409
loop1 7:1 0 55,5M 1 loop /snap/core18/2344
loop2 7:2 0 61,9M 1 loop /snap/core20/1518
loop3 7:3 0 61,9M 1 loop /snap/core20/1494
loop4 7:4 0 44,7M 1 loop /snap/snapd/15904
loop5 7:5 0 67,8M 1 loop /snap/lxd/22753
loop6 7:6 0 47M 1 loop /snap/snapd/16010
loop7 7:7 0 67,9M 1 loop /snap/lxd/22526
sda 8:0 0 11G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1M 0 part
├─sda2 8:2 0 768M 0 part /boot
└─sda3 8:3 0 10,3G 0 part
  └─ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv 253:0 0 10,3G 0 lvm /
sr0 11:0 1 1024M 0 rom

Then I wanted to enlarge the fs with:
Code:
root@srv-rpx:~# lvresize --extents +100%FREE --resizefs /dev/ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv
Size of logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv unchanged from <10,25 GiB (2623 extents).
  Logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv successfully resized.
resize2fs 1.45.5 (07-Jan-2020)
The filesystem is already 2685952 (4k) blocks long. Nothing to do!

But you can already see, it does not apply anything. I am stuck here - any suggestions please?
