Reporting enhancements in the bug tracker

I tried logging in bug tracker with same email and pass as here the forums, but tells invalid login or password, as if non-existent.
Only "different" thing I did in forums was changing email address.

Is this expected?

the bug tracker and the forum are two completely separate services with different accounts. and yes, feature or enhancement requests are welcome there - when in doubt, it might still be a good idea to gauge interest/feasibility first here in the forum ;)

Thanks for helping.

I really thought they were same accounts since it's the same main domain despite different subdomains...
Others such as Novel Suse do handle same accounts for both things

last week was release week, and we've been busy following up on release related feedback. please be patient, we do try to follow-up within a reasonable timeframe.

Since last reply at the bug report, nothing in weeks.
I'd appreciate even a "f**k you" -suitable from you...- and closing ticket, instead of totally unanswered.

I did answer to the bug report after our interaction here - I am not sure what you expect? bugs are open until somebody works on them, then they are assigned.. especially for things relating to the installer/ISO, development work there is normally batched ahead of the next (minor) release.

Probably I didn't understand what "batched ahead of the next (minor) release" means, sorry.

But now it's been one and a half year since I opened this request and bug report, and no one has worked on it? I know because I downloaded latest Proxmox VE 9.0 ISO and checked the init script again.

Bug report reads "more information needed". What other information do you need? Can I help?
I would really like this addition to be included in Proxmox VE ISO.

Thanks.

updated it so that it should be higher up in the list of issues before the next installer round
