Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble with ProxMox and Google apps.

The ports are set to the default values, 25 external & 26 Internal. Inbound email is functioning well, but I am unable to use the gateway for outbound mail, due to the inability to tell Google to use port 26.

I have whitelisted Google's ip address ranges found here: nslookup -q=TXT _spf.google.com 8.8.8.8 , which in turn looks here: nslookup -q=TXT _netblocks.google.com 8.8.8.8 , which resolves to:
ip4:64.18.0.0/20 ip4:64.233.160.0/19 ip4:66.102.0.0/20 ip4:66.249.80.0/20 ip4:72.14.192.0/18 ip4:74.125.0.0/16 ip4:173.194.0.0/16 ip4:207.126.144.0/20 ip4:209.85.128.0/17 ip4:216.58.192.0/19 ip4:216.239.32.0/19.

I have also tried adding the ip ranges to the Networks section.

Thanks for any assistance.

Mark

if you open the internal port for the whole google IPs you would run a wide open relay. I doubt that this is your goal, please explain.

The goal is to use ProxMox as the inbound and outbound gateway for Google apps email.

Any light to shed on the issue? Google will not allow you to specify a port along with the gateway ip address.
