Reduction of HD space used

Hello everyone, I installed Proxmox Backup Server, and I'm running a backup routine on my VMs, with a retention policy for the last two backups, to save disk space. However, I notice that when the oldest backup is deleted, my PBS doesn't seem to reduce the space used by the HD. There's something wrong? Or will space really not be reduced when deleting old backups?

Hello @rodrigus, welcome to the club.

Space is only released during/after a "Garbage Collection", 24 hours after a backup got deleted.

(It is configurable in the Web-Gui of course.)
