Hi everyone,

I have a PBS witch is offline and turned on only for the backup via WoL. After that, the PBS shutting down.
It's working fine, but in my PVE log is spammed with an error (every 10s), because the PBS is not reachable:
pve pvestatd[1890]: PBS: error fetching datastores - 500 Can't connect to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8007 (No route to host)

Is it possible to reduce the frequency for checking or disable this error?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the hint with disabling the storage (PBS) automaticlly.
For the meantime I using the crontab to enabling and disabling the PBS at the backup time (pvesm set PBS --disable 0 and pvesm set PBS --disable 1).
I have to look into the hookscripts, this is probably the cleaner way to proceed.

Just to add to this solution, I opted to make the pbs server itself disabling and enabling the pbs on my proxmox server.
What I found out, after several failures:
I used a script here: /etc/network/if-up.d/enable-pbs, but it did not work.
After testing, It seems that all the network services are not ready listening when this event are triggered.
I added a "sleep 60" in the script, and it did work.
It seems to depend on the speed of your server.
