Hello,

We are actually testing Proxmox Gateway to replace an old version of Imsva from Trend Micro. The server is used on a test environnement to handle unusual needs.

Looking at its mail management capabilities, we haven't found yet an option to redirect directly mails coming from a specific server or mail sender to an external gateway.

if sender="test@toto.fr" then send mail to gateway xxxx.
if mail coming from server xx;xx.xx.xx then send mail to gateway xxxx.

This function is named "Handoff" on Imsva.

Can someone tell us if Proxmox Mail gawatay can do that too ?

Sorry for my bad english...

See "Configuration/Mail Proxy/Transports"

Thanks for your answers. Configuring transport is not the solution, as you can only link domains with gateways.

One of our "special" needs is to temporarily route all mails coming from a test application server to our production gateway (not known in the configuration of the test environnement gateway). On IMSVA, we have a rule that intercept all mails coming from the sender address used by the test server and deliver them directely to another gateway (not know on the transport domains).

On Proxmox Gateway, I can create a 'Who object" associated with an TCP/IP address or with the test server SMTP address. But I have not found an "Action object" that can send the messages directly to the TCP/IP address of a SMTP gateway.

You could reply that the right thing to do is modifying the test application server's configuration to send directly mails to the production gateway. but that's not a good solution. That would take ages in our company :-).

Yours.
