I was having an issue where my Proxmox server wouldn't boot properly. I tried troubleshooting the problem but eventually gave up. I've since setup a new Proxmox server, but I still have the old Proxmox on one of my SSDs. I don't have any backups of the virtual machines from my old server. Is there a way to transfer the virtual machines from the old server to the new one?

Hi @bluezeta ,
Yes there are ways to do this. Which one to pick depends on your prior storage configuration (LVM, ZFS, etc). There are more than a few articles covering various configuration, you should review them:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Proxmox/comments/w8o7va/import_old_lvm_storage_drive_to_new_proxmox/
etc

A sample google search "how to import old proxmox disk into new proxmox"

Good luck
