Recover Deleted VM or Backup

Hello,

We accidentally destroyed one of our VM and purge the backup. We have looking for another backup and still nothing.

Is there a way to recover those VM data from proxmox?

We're using this version:

# pveversion pve-manager/6.1-8/806edfe1 (running kernel: 5.3.18-2-pve)

if you removed the guest with its volumes and all the backups, PVE won't be able to restore anything.

depending on the exact storages used and time since deletion and other factors, you might see some success if you contract a professional data recovery company - but be aware that there is no guarantee of success or complete recovery, and it tends to be really really expensive, especially for complex setups involving raid/distributed storage/more exotic file formats/..
