Recommended practice for another PVE server in external locations

Hello,

at the headquarter of our facility is currently running a PVE server (v5.1), on which several virtual servers are operated. We will soon get another location and the network there will be connected to the main site via VPN. The line capacity for the VPN is extremely limited (about 1 ~ 2 MBit - from August about 16MBit). What's the recommended practice for another PVE server in the branch? Does it make sense under these conditions to manage both in the same data center, or even to build a cluster? If so, what would the benefits be?

Thanks - Gerald

since the cluster feature of pve is very latency dependent (no more than 2ms) and needs multicast to work, it will probably not work in your setup.
i would simply manage each of the two server as a standalone node.
