recommend pure ssd or enterprise sata and zil arc setup

Hi

Currently have pure ssd setup but with 6 x 500 gb ssd disks and around 4 servers being used with 8 core cpu at 3.5ghz and 64gb ecc ram. I was wondering if I used 2 servers instead with 12 core at 2.4 ghz with 64gb ecc ram but enterprise 7200 sata disks 2tb x4 raid10 and 2x 240 gb raid1 for zil/arc and os. Would that new setup work better. Manager sais I should try and save costs but will performance be bigger issue? or what do you recommend?

note each server would host atleast 3 cpanel servers hosting 1000s of websites in together like they are with ssd environment currently.

Is this setup better than hw raid 10 with 6x sata disks?

With 1000 webs better to use 4 x Server with SSD. But you need to add additional big SATA for CPanel backup.
Support you make weekly backup then you must provide enough space for 5 x week in a month (suppose you retain 31 days backup).

Backups is ok. We got that going to another server via private nic - Full VM backups to one server and Full cpanel backups on another remote server.

I'll stick with Full SSD then for now We have no issues. Was just trying to save costs.
