Re-create cluster with just corosync.conf on nodes?

I have configured a 4 node cluster, and am wondering if it is possible to just copy corosync.conf to /etc/pve/corosync.conf and /etc/corosync/corosync.conf to my nodes if i were to start from scratch (fresh install of pve) on all nodes. Would this create and "join" the nodes to the cluster? If this is not true, how can i make the process of re-creating my cluster as simple (automate-able) as possible?

It is not possible to clone a cluster by copying the corosync.conf file, as there are many more steps involved in the process of creating a cluster and joining to a cluster, e.g. setting up and sharing SSH keys between each other and correctly configuring corosync in the process. Even if it would be possible, you'd likely have IP address collisions, as the cloned cluster would use the same IP addresses and it would need the servers to have similar hardware/network configurations.

I'd still be interested in the use case that you're trying to solve. Why would you want to clone a cluster instead of recreating it?

I am thinking more along the lines of if we were to have a total loss due to fire/natural disaster. I was hoping there might be a way to automate (to whatever extent possible) the re-creation of the cluster on new hardware. With that being said it would also be nice to be able to replace any one node in the cluster (from bare metal) with minimal configuration.
