Question about of chenbro chassis

Excuse me if my question is made in the incorrect forum

I read in the link "http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Ceph_Server" that is recommended the chassis "chenbro".

I see in this link a interesting chassis for my target:

Then, i want to know if the chenbro chassis of twelve hard disk bays with a RAID controller Adaptec can work well for get that the red led work well it in case of failure of a hard disk. For me, with a Adaptec RAID controller get the red led work well in case of failure of a hard disk in the front of the chassis of each hard disk is my target.

I will be very grateful to anyone who can help me, and even more if you can give me very specific instructions.

we have a Chenbro RM-236-8, inside an Adaptec 6805. HDD LED are working as expected.

Please, let me to do a question more:

For connect my RAID controller Adaptec "6805E" or "71605E " to my chassis chenbro, i believe that i need to use cables "SFF-8087 to SFF-8087", as this:
