qm set "command not found"

the qm binary is in /usr/sbin - you need to run the command as root

I have gotten this error as well and adding sudo to the command line didn't work.
Tried running the command as root...same result.

100% sure that everything is installed correctly? What is
Code:
pveversion -v

command returns "pveversion: command not found"
Then probably you are not root or Proxmox VE is not correctly installed.

I think I found the issue.
I was running the command on the VM's terminal, not on the host's shell. When I run it on the shell, I get the following:

The relevant packages seem to be up to date. Are you sure, that you have tried sudo qm ... on your host and not inside the VM?[/icode]
