[SOLVED] qcow2 file size

Dear Community!

I got a problem.
I have qcow2 files with thin provision. But afther I moved the machine disk to another storage with the move disk button its grow to the size to the qcow2 file max can have.
How can I get back the thin provision?

Hi Spearox!

Make a Backup first!!!

Use

qemu-img convert -O qcow2 INPUT_NAME.qcow2 OUTPUT_NAME.qcow2

then it should shrink to the real size.
