Hello,
I've noticed that the pvestatd is using more and more memory after a few weeks. When I restart the pvestat daemon, it only uses ~175132 kB (171 MB). After a few weeks it uses ~2365124 kB (2.309 MB) (started at 25. August 2012) and it's increasing every hour a little bit.
The total available RAM decreases, so the VMs have lesser RAM available and I can't add more VMs, because a lot of memory is used by pvestatd that is not available for the VMs.
So, is this a bug in pvestatd, is there a fix for it?
I'm thinking of creating a cronjob, that restarts the pvestatd once a day, to free the "locked memory", so I can use more memory for my VMs. Maybe that's the best solution for now?
Thanks.
