PVE UPS management / NUT integration

Hello everybody
Does anyone know if there are any plan to integrate UPS management directly in Pve gui ? Nut ?
For now it require NUT cli manual installation and configuration and build a Lxc for ups monitoring.
All that should be implemented in Pve directly don't you think ?

I know it's something on the table for a long time and of course not everything can be implemented. Also Nut, as popular as it is, can be cumbersome to configure (i'm on it right now). I'm sure many dreams of a Nut configuration gui to get rid of the whole config file set up... lol

I tried to fix this gap with a small LXC, providing a lightweight web-gui: https://github.com/ffind-dev/pve-ups (hope this is allowed to share here)
If there’s no native integration that’s probably the way to go. Avoiding installation of additional tools on pve host itself as well.

So it's a script to auto deploy-config a new lxc in prox. Then we set the api acces. Tell where Cyberpower network card is and it's up and running ?
is there a Test mode, like a quick confirmation : if you unplug the usb cable the webgui give an indication in the status or so ?

Basically: yes. You’ll need a network card in your CyberPower, enable snmp and add IP of your UPS in LXC webgui. Status, dry-run and everything else is available through web interface, rest-api or webhook notifications.
