Hey guys,
is there like a minimal Linux ISO with just the capability to connect to my hosted pve vm via Spice?
I tried now a lot and i wont work, especially not the ThinClient minimal isos, they all have a lot of tools installed, but not one has Spice or Virt-Viewer.
Dont work ThinClient ISOs:
http://thinstation.github.io/thinstation/
https://wtware.com/
Even Ubuntu 18 minimal desktop live usb sticks hangs on installation, i think its because its only a dual core and 2gigs of ram.
Im using:
Dell Dx0D and Fujitsu Futro 900
PVE is the current 5.2-8 Release
VM: Windows 10 and Windows 7, all drivers for spice and virtio io installed, while in the interface everything is configured accordingly
Idea behind this:
Use a powerfull VM on my server, while setting up my dad with a low power, low noise thin client where he can insert sound+mike+usb and the VM acts on that and he is happy. Byfar the best idea would be a button to click for him to connect, or if possible, the system starts and the script runs by itself, but i think i would have to add scripts to runlevel 5 init. Not sure if that is indeed a good idea.
