hi,
I have been having some weird issue lately where my nightly scheduled backup job keep failing due to "dropped" remote share mount. The exact error is as follows:
INFO: HOOK: job-init
INFO: notified via target `[[[EMAIL ADDR]]]`
TASK ERROR: could not activate storage 'to.nas.2.hdc.bups': mkdir /mnt/to.nas.2.hdc.bups: File exists at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 1743.
The shares are mounted via /etc/fstab
the mount point /mnt/to.nas.2.hdc.bups folder exists, but, is not visible due to dropped mount. I think. To temp fix this issue (everyday), I end up having to umount and remount the share on PVE. and repeat the next day.
Can someone please shed some light on what might be causing this issue ?
PVE Version: Virtual Environment 8.1.10. Share's on Unraid CIFS
Thanks in advance
