[SOLVED] PVE 5.0 and PVE 4.4 in same cluster

We are in the process of planning an upgrade to Proxmox 5.0. We will however wait a few weeks to make sure that any issues with the in-place upgrade have been solved.
What we cannot seem to find is if a 5.0 installation can exist in a 4.4 cluster as we need to upgrade our system one node at a time.
It would not be good if we had to upgrade all servers at once as we are running mission critical VM's on the hosts and we cannot move these to other hosts if we have to upgrade all servers at once.

Hi,

generally corosync are compatible.
We do not recommended to run a mixed cluster.
Temporary in the upgrade process it is no problem.

Thank you for the reply.
This is great news as we can run our testing and then once we find that any release bugs have been fixed, then we can upgrade the nodes one by one.
