Public IP to Windows VM

Hey all,

Brand new to Proxmox. How does one go about assigning a public IP address to a Windows VM? How about if you have multiple public IP's and multiple VM's? Can public IP addresses be assigned using the Proxmox UI? I want to be able to RDP to my VM from the public Internet.

we need some more information...

are you using bride ore routed setup?

Server in a Home Lab or at a hosting Provider like Hetzner, OVH or so?

Please tell us the information about the network you have, IP Range etc. (of course you can obfuscate the IPs)

I am looking into leasing a dedicated bare metal server in a datacenter. So it would be a hosting provider.

I do not have an IP range yet, or decided between a bridge or routed setup. Just looking for recommendations at this point.

The decision routed or bridged setup depends on the hosting provider...
