Prune Simulator where to find ?

I don't seem to be able to find Prune Simulator in the PBS UI.

Where is it ?

On every proxmox admin interface, you have a link to the documentation (top right).

I am asking about URL to the Prune Simulator,e.g. how I can get this:

Open the documentation and search inside the docs for "simulator"

You will get https://yourIP:8007/docs/prune-simulator/index.html

Make sure you run latest version, as always.

Although this is an old thread, I have found the prune simulator, but where can I find the number of weeks in my own configuration?
from the simulator:



it looks like it's not there?

and therefor I cannot keep a weekly and monthly backup ..

this is just for simulating the backup schedule. since backups are initiated from the client, this is not something you can configure on pbs

I understand this, but the client is Proxmox itself. In proxmox you define keep 1 month, keep 1 week and keep ie. 7 days, but when there is no number of weeks defined what is stated as option in the simulator I cannot see how to keep a monthly backup and a weekly backup. Than only x number of backups are saved. So I think I am missing something in the config of the backup functionality in Proxmox itself towards pbs

the 'number of weeks' you can configure in the simulator is nothing you can configure in pve because it is not related to the prune settings, but the simulated backup interval. it basically says the simulator how many weeks in advance you want to simulate your backup schedule...

the prune settings are on a different panel in the simulator..
