We are seeing intermittent vzdump tar failures for LXCs hosting Postgres and ArcGIS applications. It appears the tarball is failing while attempting to tar runtime/temporary application files. The error message produced reads, "Cannot stat: Structure needs cleaning". The host filesystem system is Ceph. Details have been added to:

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Proxmox 6? These same containers backed up without trouble under Proxmox 5. The failing vzdump tar command began to appear only after migrating the containers to Proxmox 6.

Any information or recommendations on how to resolve this issue would be helpful.
Thank you.

It might be likely that these temp file were deleted while the snapshot was taking place. Usually temp files don't need to be backed up. Best exclude them from backup or change the mode to other than snapshot.
