Hello Forum,

my proxmox server has three network cards as mentioned above while one of them is configured as a linux bridge (enp9s0 as management and VM network) and the other two (enp6s0, enp5s0; proxmox was not installed directly but via a debian 10.x distribution) have no linux bridge.

I'm not quite sure if I can do anything with the native enp5s0, enp6s0 in proxmox (e.g. add an iSCSI target) or if I have to make a linux bridge for both in advance.

Many thanks and best regards reredok

Hi,

If I would have your server, I will try this:

- one network iface for management only(bridge if you do not want to change your actual setup)
- one other iface in a bridge for VM network
- the last one could be be used for anything you may need(any remote storage like iSCSI, or maybe for another special VM group, what-ever ...)

Good luck /Bafta !

Thanks for the information.

My question is rather I have to make a linux bridge with the "native" network adapters to be able to use them within Proxmox

Many thanks and best regards reredok
