Proxmox will not see raid

I have 2 servers with raid that do not work with Proxmox.

1. AMD :: http://www.sgi.com/products/servers/half_depth/1u_amd_2p.html
   When raid is enabled and i use the proxmox iso to install it does not detect 1 volume. Shows all available hdds
2. INTEL :: http://www.xbyte.com/Dell-PowerEdge-CS24-Server.aspx
   When raid is enabled and i use proxmox installed it detects the raid volume.

Is there anything i need to do to get raid to work on these boxes with proxmox? If i install windows or a linux os it detects the raid but proxmox doesnt.

What kind of RAID card is that (vendor/product)?

Proxmox VE does not support fake raid (bios raid, host raid, ...)

Only real hardware raid controllers are supported.
