Is it possible to edit the proxmox webinterface e.g. for adding some tabs? if yes which framework or is there an documentation for it?

I guess there`s only ONE file to edit right? and it`s ajax/js...php is a lot easier

I doubt that PHP is "easy" if you want the same functionality, but this is not the topic here.

There are many books about ExtJS out there. I suggest you read a few. Modern RIA frameworks are really great to develop applications. Much easier than old style server side frameworks.

Honestly, you really thing we develop an application using one big file with 19.000 lines?
