The proxmox-ve_6.4-1.iso doesn't boot. It fails with
Code:
error: attempting to read or write outside of disk `hd0'.
I tried both the USB-creator that comes with Linux Mint and dd as instructed on the wiki, both with the same result.

hi,

have you verified the checksum for the ISO file to make sure the download isn't corrupted ? when you run sha256sum proxmox-ve_6.4-1.iso on the file it should match with this [0]:

Code:
SHA256SUMS for the ISO:
ab71b03057fdeea29804f96f0ff4483203b8c7a25957a4f69ed0002b5f34e607

can the same machine boot different ISO?

are you booting with UEFI or legacy boot?

do you see the proxmox logo in the beginning of the boot process?

The same machine can boot other OS'. This is actually my test machine so all it does is boot different OS' to check compatibility all day.

I was booting in UEFI mode. When booting in legacy mode all it does it say
Code:
GRUB
with a blinking cursor behind it.

And no I don't see a proxmox logo, which makes sense if grub seemingly doesn't have anything to boot.
